Problem Gambling Impact on Adolescents (5 Hours)

Participants will learn about the major types of adolescent gambling in NYS and the risk factors affecting youth and analyze the effect advertising has on adolescents, current research, and adolescent prevalence rates. Participants will also learn about the indicators of problem gambling among students, internet gambling and the role of parents and the school in preventing the problem.
